The TUFF-N-DRI system is comprised of two parts. The first is a spray applied polymer-enhanced asphalt which creates a highly elastomeric, monlithic waterproof membrane when applied to poured concrete or block walls. Shortly after the membrane is sprayed on the wall, the WARM-N-DRI foundation board is placed on the membrane. Depending on the thickness of the board used, you will enjoy a R-Values of 3.1, 5 and 10! This rigid fiberglass board does more than just insulate your basement. It also acts as a drainage medium, relieving hydrostatic pressure on the wall and the WARM-N-DRI board also protects the membrane during backfilling.
